Luke grew up in and around the Players, studied teaching, graduated in science from Griffith University and has since then been making various kinds of films.

In recent years Luke has returned to the theatre as an actor, appearing in VP productions Snapshots From Home, Rumours and The Busybody. He now makes his stage directorial debut with Cat.

Luke currently teaches all forms of digital media at Griffith University, and occasionally gets time to make the odd award-winning film.
